Setlist Cologne 29.03.12 in Therapy? Live

No Troublegum songs for the first time since…since…well since Troublegum came out, but an excellent show nonetheless.

Oh, and I finally managed to take a picture of the fifth Beatle during the set.

Re: Underground, Cologne 12.08.2010 in Therapy? Live
Yep, excellent gig. I liked their quotations, not just the usual Nowhere Man, but also Van Morrison’s Gloria and BÖC’s Don’t Fear The Reaper in the middle of Diane and, of course, the Peanut song, very unique indeed.
And also nice to be able to buy a Punk Floyd shirt.
Greetings to Robby and Roxy (first I thought you weren’t there but Roxy’s hellbelly explained it all) and Angela plus company.
Maybe there’s another German tour in November as on last.fm they’ve announced a gig in Munich for November 11.

Re: Düsseldorf - Zakk 28.11.2009 in Therapy? Live
What a hell of a show. It’s been the best T? gig I’ve seen for years, no kiddin.
The setlist was something like this (not in the correct order in the middle):
Isolation
Turn
Sister
Screamager
Enjoy The Struggle
Clowns Galore
Rain Hits Concrete
Die Like A Motherfucker
Lonely, Cryin’ Only
I Am The Money
Opal Mantra
Innocent X
Teethgrinder
Potato Junkie (with something like an Irish traditional as an intro)
Exiles
Crooked Timber
Bad Excuse For Daylight
Rust
—————
Die Laughing
Diane
Nowhere
And it was also nice meeting soul doubt and this crazy couple you can’t avoid at T? concerts. :-D

Re: Germany 2009 in Therapy? Live
Definitely Düsseldorf and most probably Aachen.
But with some days off at the beginning of November Stuttgart, Konstanz and maybe an Italian date is in the planning.

Damn, T? seem to be the only good band on Saturday.

Re: When is the next Germany gig? in Therapy? Live
Finally back home, slept a bit, went to work today and can now give my two cents:
Frankfurt
The sound wasn’t too good, the right speaker went on and off constantly throughout the gig, the crowd also was a bit indifferent but that was to be expected as it was a student’s party. It was a pleasure meeting Petri and his girlfriend. Sorry, we had to leave right after the show to catch our last train home but I’m sure we’ll meet again.
Cologne
Fanfuckintastic show, the best of the three I’ve seen last week. The sound was excellent, the crowd was great and the band seemed to enjoy it as well. It’s great to see that the guys stick to playing every song from Crooked Timber but vary the other songs a bit. If It Kills Me and Fantasy Bag out but Rust, Innocent X and Diane in. It was also a pleasure seeing Psychotherapy and Angela again apart from the usual suspects like Robby and Roxy and Wickedman and irishlady.

Re: 2009 tour merchandise in Therapy? Live
Alright, then they should only sell girlie shirts made by Gildan.

Re: 2009 tour merchandise in Therapy? Live
It’s Gildan again (I have the Private Nobody shirt from the previous tour) and I can’t complain about the quality. I need an XL that’s really large and so they are and the quality is ok. The B&C shirts from the NANE tour are a bit too heavy in my opinion and the neck’s a bit too tight as well.

Re: 2009 tour merchandise in Therapy? Live
They had no special girlie shirts as far as I could see. Maybe a small one will serve you instead (I bought the beige one in XL and it fits my skinny body perfectly).
I also got me the gym bag for a fiver. It looks like this only with a gemil and Therapy? on it instead of the swoosh.

Re: O2 Islington Academy Show!! 5th May 2009 in Therapy? Live
Just returned from London. Brilliant gig though Andy’s guitar playing wasn’t the best. He also had some vocal problems, especially in Exiles. Maybe he just wasn’t used to really sing. ;-)
The sound was good (second row, no ear plugs), the crowd was excellent, but only a bit too exhausted to demand an encore so the guitar tech had to animate them to make some noise to get the lads back on stage. I was surprised how many people already sang along to the new songs.
I love the setlist, especially playing Crooked Timber in its entirety because I think we won’t get the chance to hear so many new songs on further tours, just remember: no tracks from NANE and OCFA this time. My highlight was Magic Mountain, I just love it.
I also was glad to see the Academy so well filled for T?. I arrived there at about 7.30 when Kidnapper Bell just had started to play and was shocked to see the place that empty but that changed when The Sound Explosion kicked off. By the way, they were awesome, great Hellacopters or Backyards Babies inspired rock’n’roll with loads of posing going on.
Got no cd singles after the show as they had already sold out but Dave said they bring more with them when hitting the continent.

Re: When is the next Germany gig? in Therapy? Live
I’ll be there, too. No time for pre beers, unfortunately, as I get there right from work. So I’ll look out for Robby and Roxy and see you then.
