To mark this lovely day I’m listening to Feb 14 by The Drive-By Truckers.
Possibly the best Valentines song ever.

Just got Ishoku-Sokuhatsu by Yonin Bayashi in the post. Fucking amazing. About to listen to it again.
Then I’ll be moving on to Kirikyogen by Kuni Kawachi & Friends, which is similarly amazing.
Anybody who likes anything vaguely psychedelic or proggy, check out some of the stuff that was coming out in Japan in the 60s and 70s, I’ve not often been disappointed.
It’s also surprisingly cheap to build up a nice collection.

Orange Goblin - A eulogy for the damned… Which is great, big riffs!
Coc - Coc … Bit weird not having Pepper singing, but I’m loving it nice mix of the stoner style mixed with the punkier side.

Pretty good, sounds pretty much like you’d expect from Soul Fly, but better than most of the stuff on the last couple of albums, thankfully.
I say all that as someone with only a passing interest in Soul Fly though, I find them very hit and miss.

Been playing me T? old E.P’s bringing back memories…
Shorsharpshock was just such a perfect release at the time, really set up their new direction… I remember having it on repeat for months. Screamager was such a great kick off track, Autosurgery is one of my favourite tracks by them period.. Totally random man was nice to have Fyfe back on Vocals and an updated and more aggressive Accelerator just should what was lacking about Nurse.
With other bands going back to the E.P format I would love if Therapy? for a year released one every four months :)

Tower of Strength is fucking awesome! The drums, the bass, the guitar… what am I getting at lol, the whole song is terrific. So far though, it’s the only song by them that I’ve gotten into.

You into any other bands on the excellent Richter Collective label ?
I particularly like BATS , Not Squares and Enemies as well.

Yeah, I’m enjoying it. I was slightly disappointed at first that it’s so mellow, only really one upbeat track on it, but once I accepted that it didn’t matter too much as the music is still as good as ever.
I haven’t listened to the second CD yet, but I do already have Down in the Flood and Forgive Me from the single they sold at gigs. I’m surprised there was no studio recording of New Deal, I really liked that one.

I’ve not listened to any of the others that much, listening to a bit more Enemies lately and I don’t mind some of Hands Up Who Wants To Die, I kind of want to buy the Marvin’s Revolt LP just for the cover but don’t really like the music! Good label, but I’m not enjoying the new website layout, looks nicer but more annoying to navigate.
You become a friend of RC? (100 euros is a bit too much for me)
