I’m not 100% with it to be fair. The vocals in the chorus have this monotone sound which seems to have changed since the live version. Not sure I like it so much. Plus the ‘breakdown’ or ‘solo’ part doesn’t really go anywhere. Video is great on the other hand, plus I do seem to have had it in my head all day, so it’s defo not a stinker or anything.

Not super fond of the video itself (nor Crooked Timber’s) but the song is fuckin’ great. I get the feeling that this new album is going to blow CT right out of the water.

When I first hear the live version of this song, I thought it was a great homage to Therapy?’s roots - which salute the music scene that evolve with the ghosts of Jesus Lizard and Fugazi. Well, I couldn’t be so wrong. OK; there’s a homage but honestly; It’s nothing to do with other bands that define the sound of T? Actually, Living in The Shadow… is only about Therapy? and what this band is about. You can feel Nurse, Troublegum, High Anxiety and Crooked Timber out there. This is pure Therapy? at the highest degree. Terrific stuff.

Video reminds me of the Face the Strange cover, except without the fishnets, which is kinda cool, especially as the gas masks fit in well with the lyrics, so the whole thing doesn’t feel too self-reverential (although I suspect its not just a coincidence).
Andy’s looking pretty trim - not so sure about the shots from below, but that’s a minor criticism.
Looking forward to hearing the song on some proper speakers rather than through my computer
Does make you want to ask ‘are you my mummy?’ though…
Going to go play it again now…

It sounds very 90s to me, which is a good thing. Crooked Timber brought back that gritty, muddy 90s sound and if the rest of ABCOL is like this song then this album will be taking that even further. Time for a 90s revival - back when rock music really rocked :-)

When you’re going to hear it again and again, you maybe will change your mind.

BASS! My computer speakers always turn on with too much bass and when this hit them the whole sub box started moving! Not too fond of the chorus but just that dirty rumbling of bass underpinning everything is gargantuan! Can’t wait for the album, particularly the instrumental (Marlowe?).

i have just realised the song is called LITSO THE TT and not LITSO A TT …
i understand what joel was saying prior to his last post though - quite often when i have heard new tracks live before i have heard the studio version i am disappointed (with the studio version) and they usually take a while to grow on me. probably something to do with them having less energy or something than when played live. this track on the other hand is the exact opposite - sounds much better to me now that i have heard the real thing (although the poor quality sound on all the live youtube videos probably helped out with this).

Once again, like when I saw the Crooked Timber video on the site for the first time, I don’t know what I’m hearing. Therapy? has once again managed to push it over the edge and expand their boundaries, creating a sound unlike anything I’ve ever heard before and just putting it right into people’s faces by choosing to release it as their single! No other band in the world does that kind of stuff anymore, which is why no other band in the world gets me as excited as T? does. This song messes with your mind. I hope to hear it on the radio here in Belgium soon… Crooked Timber was skipped but I believe they played all their singles up to One Cure Fits All so there’s a chance. This song is way too radical for nowadays radio, but it’s also freaking brilliant, so Therapy? might just have scored themselves another big hit here, and even if they don’t, doesn’t change the fact it’s brilliant =) Fanfuckingtastic Therapy? !!!
