When are the tickets likely to be on sale? I’ve just cheked ticketweb.co.uk and they dont have anything about it on there (I guess its still early days).

£5 a ticket is a fucking bonus though! :)

I just checked as well… Generally, tickets for most gigs go on sale on a Fri, but an update would be good!!

I have utterly no knowledge of Skindred, what am I in for?

Anyone else wandering Londonwards for this?

I’ll be going to Brixton for this Rob, I’m going there on the 19th of this month to see Carter USM so I’ll check out a few pubs near the venue. Haven’t heard Skindreds’ latest album but I love Babylon their debut - check out some of their stuff on youtube (Nobody being a good starting point). Basically rock with some reggae crossover and quite a lot of reggae vocals - great stuff!

Saw Skindred a few years ago, they put on a good energetic show, though I’ve only heard their first album. Still have a wee soft spot for Dub War though so I’m happy to see Benji doing well. Neil’s facial expression is class in that group photo in the news strand.

Looks like this is just a short tour so with any luck there will be a headlining tour for T? soon too. Please!

There’s a pub on Brixton Road that I’ve been to before gigs there before but haven’t a clue what its called - will say if I remember.

Carter USM should be good - hope you get your money’s worth, their tickets seem to always cost a fortune!

Will do some youtube trawling…

I got so excited a little bit of wee came out.
But then I got unexcited when I realised the Leeds tickets weren’t on sale yet!
Will keep checking back every day to make sure.
In the meantime, I’m off to buy some Tena Lady.

PS Skindred are fucking AMAZING. Came across them a few years ago when they supported Pitchshifter. Been to see them a few times.
PPS WHY NO MANCHESTER? I feel like I’m betraying my Lancashire roots by having to cross the Pennines, I hope you realise. Luckily, I love Leeds.

Hoping a Manchester show will pop up at some point, would’ve thought o2 Academy would be an obvious one but maybe not!

I’ve only had half a night out in Leeds before and many weekends training there - it’s a nice city though. Met Hotel in Leeds is reasonably priced too and fairly close to train station for those that need a room.

Am now gloating at all those losers who were upset about not getting Stone Roses tickets and telling them to come and listen to some proper 90s music…at a TENTH of the price!

Leeds is on a Tuesday, London is on a weekend, are you sure you don’t fancy a trip to the Big Smoke?

bristol for sure, will purchase a ticket as soon as i have some money , might venture to another show too seeing as tickets are so cheap and theres plenty of time till the gigs meaning cheapest possible train tickets will be sortable.

Skindred are one hell of a live band, saw them twice (must have been back in like 2006) but i never really got too in to their post ‘babylon’ albums, does anyone know if they play much from the debut nowadays
