Currently listening to a two track promo of the new foo’s album sounds good and has a bit more edge and get up and go. It makes excited about the new album but just makes me worry that per usual that I’m just setting myself up for a let down when the whole album comes out?

Anyone on hear listen to InMe?

I’m just deciding whether to buy their best of, or whether to buy all four albums they’ve done. All I know by them is their first album, which I borrowed when it came out, but as far as I remember I wasn’t too impressed by it - though I did love the song Underdose. The samples for the best of on Amazon all sound pretty good though. Tricky decision…

I thought they were pretty fucking rubbish when they came out, and seeing them at Download / Ozzfest did nothing to change my mind. I cant believe they are still going.

I have to admit, I was surprised they were still going. Wasn’t impressed when I listened to their first album and hadn’t heard of them since. But apparently they have 4 albums out now and it’s given me a misguided nostalgic urge.

Well, I decided to give them a try by listening to their first album, which I’m about halfway through right now. A bit whiny, but overall much better than I remember it being.

Listening to Radiohead - King of Limbs… only just got hold of it, on first listen it’s not too bad… bit different to their other albums, less live instruments. I think its a grower, but not really a patch on the last album.

Epitome: Rubberneck by the Toadies is a great alt rock album (ok so 1994 isn’t quite 10 years ago), don’t know if it’s available on spotify / Last FM etc but worth a listen if you can, sadly the next album wasn’t as good.

Rubberneck - The Toadies
Funky Kingston - Toots & The Maytals
Music For The Jilted Generation - Prodigy

Great album. Also loved that I used to pass the building that was used in the artwork everyday on my way to work when I worked in Arlington,VA. Never did bother to find out what it was though.
