@ Graeme55, what’s the new Filter album like?
lol 2 months late i know, sorry lol.
new Filter album is bloody incredible, their best yet, its a lot heavier than the last album, which was good, but disappointing,
theres no weak track on here, every song sound like they should be singles lol.
hugely recommended

I have all their old stuff… all I’ve heard from the new album is the first single and a brief flick through the clips on Amazon… sounds very ballad heavy. Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing, and I still plan to get it, but I think I would’ve preferred more rock stuff mixed in like in the old days - still I can’t really judge it fairly from those clips anyway, so maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised when I finally get it.

Been having a listen to The Pineapple Thief this evening, musically it’s wonderful but I’m not enjoying the vocals (not exactly the first time I’ve said that about a band though). Probably going to be booking a ticket to see them at camden underworld in march.
Also been working my way through quite a bit of Toddla T interspersed with the odd Nomeansno track, 2-step to punk and back again, fun afternoon.

Repeater is probably my fave Fugazi album but i like 13 Songs and Steady Diet Of Nothing as well.
Seen them live 3 times and i loved the first 2 shows. The last time i seen them was probably around 2002 and i just found it very boring.
