On first thought where to interview a witness doesn’t seem like such a big deal but if they were ‘bickering’ about it? (and we all know lawyers don’t ‘bicker’, they use bigger words and more sardonic comments). The location could be detrimental to the prosecution or defence.
It could be grounds for appeal, or certainly questionning the judge’s authority; he should have resolved it by what was best for the witness.
But we all know how wank witness and victim services can be :rolleyes:
