Should be good… Hopefully ozzys vocals are better, that was the only let down last time as he could sing a note for shit. Rest of the band are always on form. I’ll see them if they come this way.

I believe Metallica are confirmed too. How do we petition to get T? on the bill? They’ll have a new album to promote which will be cool : )

Very excited about this. And would love to see T? on the bill.
A great day in heavy metal history.

I saw the ‘full’ Black Sabbath at Ozzfest in 1998 (though I think Bill Ward might have been ill at the time) - ironically Korn pulled out (yet again) and were replaced by T?, which was all the better for me and my mates.
I’m completely unimpressed by this so far, Download will hopefully pull something special out for its 10th year other than these two behemoths.

They’ll probably change the arrangement to My Friend of Misery to remove any hint of Jason Newstead.
Have actually been listening to this lately for the first time in years. Does sound a bit dated. Think I’ll listen to the under rated Load and Reload next.

I cant stand the black album now. The snare is so loud it drowns everything else out everytime it hits! I saw Sabbath live and though Ozzy is a terrible frontman and a realllllllly bad singer it was still cool to be there : )

I doubt 5-6 years off has really helped that much either

I can see this being a total flop. Ozzy is so far gone, it’s ridiculous to think he’ll be able to hold it together long enough to make it work and surely Bill Ward’s ticket’s nearly up as well? He can’t be in any state to play one gig, let alone a tour.

I saw them on the last reunion and yeah, they were good - but they were all in their early to mid 50’s and it showed.
Now they are in their early to mid 60’s…

I do love Load & Reload. If you took the best songs off those two it would equal if not surpass The Black Album.

I’ve heard that said about those two albums. I ritually burnt mine.
Actually that is a lie, I bought Load, I didn’t bother with Metallica after that except live.

On a related note I see Prodigy have been announced as the 3rd headliners.
Nice to see music has moved on so far since 1999.
