Ordered a pair of KYB front shocks from Mustang specialist Jaarsma and got them within 24h ! Installed them yesterday-evening with help of Harry. Also installed a new fuel filter, this will hopefully solve the start issues..

Finally went to the King Cruise again, was a nice one. Here a short impression:

Seem to have an issue with starting, but only when the V8 is warm.. Replaced the breaker points, checked all electrics (fairly new), checked the timing but nothing helped so far... fuel line/filter issue?

And.. front (only 9 year old) Monroe shocks are finished. Top bushings have come completely out of the shock. Shit! Only 1 week left before our holiday, need new shocks fast!

Last weeks finished the repairs on the front brakes, the self-adjuster works again. Took apart the two front seats and replaced the old rotten-away foam with new ones too avoid back problems during our upcoming 'Mustang-holiday'. Used the old orginal vinyl, although the driver-seat has some tears. The taping from below has not helped much, I guess I will need new vinyl some day..
