New PS hoses

Posted on November 15, 2009 in Maintenance

During a short holiday in de east of the country at the end of Sept the power steering return hose started leaking and completey drained the whole PS pomp. I took out the belt and we drove home without power steering...

So last week I ordered a new return hose plus the two shorter pressure hoses from valve to cylinder (as they were also in a bad shape) from Jaarsma, which he couriered to me the same day. So yesterday I crawled under my '67 Mustang and replaced the 3 old with the 3 new hoses. I did not replace the pressure hose from pump to valve, as this still looks quite okay & flexible.
