Man behind the Mustang

Posted on November 8, 2003 in Driving, Maintenance, Meetings

So here we are, my Mustang and I in Pony Corral; the quarterly magazine by Team Mustang Center Nederland. This interview was taken during the swapmeet in July. There are some mistakes in the text - 60.000 miles instead of 90.000 - and I already replaced the lenses back in 2000. But who cares; we are looking good!

I purchased a 1967 Mustang Convertible back in 1970 for $800. I have kept in an airplane hangar all these years. Now I have a 13 year old son and we have the car in my garage at home and we are beginning a full restoration. Great to see your car and brings back many good memories to me.

Well, at keast they spelled your name right. ;-)

I have to applaud you, Peter, for your efforts (and desire) in maintaining a classic American car. I can only imagine what a trial that may be for someone in Europe. You must be one, stubborn guy! ::LOL::
