Contact breaker points

Posted on April 28, 2003 in Maintenance

After have some starting problems, I changed the contact breaker points today. I also changed the air cleaner element. Running smoothly again, my V8!

I also replaced one chrome window cranck as the old one was not working properly anymore. These chrome parts are pretty expensive!

I see where you changed the breaker points. I too have a 67 convertible and I've installed the pertronix ignitor which replaces the points and eliminates the need to ever change points agin. It was best move I've made so far with my mustang!
