Failed APK inspection

Posted on January 23, 2002 in Driving, Maintenance

Went for the yearly APK road inspection today and she failed it! Damn. The following needs to be replaced and/or repaired: front wheel bearings left and right, the ball joint seals and a part of the powersteering called the 'pitman-arm' which has too much play.

The inspector is also not happy with the way the new double exhaust ends at the rear of the car. The pipes are too high and blow exhaust fumes back forward via the body of the car. So, I definitely have to search further for some nice and functional chrome end-pieces.
